Two people, three cats, one small blog.
The Whisker Journal started as a notes file. We kept writing down the odd things our cats did and the odder things we learned trying to understand them. At some point the file got long enough to be a website.
We are not vets and we do not pretend to be. When a post touches on health we say so and we point you to someone qualified. Everything else is observation, a bit of reading, and a lot of sitting very still so as not to disturb a loaf.
Say hello at hello@whiskerjournal.com.
The cats
Ink
Black, green-eyed, lives on the second shelf of the bookcase. Loud purr. Will knock a pen off a desk and look you in the eye while doing it.
Biscuit
Orange, enormous, sleeps on his back in sunbeams. Supervises coffee. Has never once caught anything and is at peace with this.
Mabel
Tabby, the youngest, chatters at every bird within a hundred metres. Loafs facing away from us, which we are told is a compliment.
